What is Gestalt Therapy?

Gestalt is a present-centered awareness based therapy. Through the work, clients explore behaviour patterns and held beliefs that may have been very necessary responses in the past but no longer work now that life circumstances have changed. These old, often stuck positions, are honoured for what they are – coping mechanisms that were once a creative response to their environment at that time.

Clients then begin to experiment with new approaches to looking at and interacting with their world. This allows them to develop and broaden their ways of responding to what’s happening in the here and now, and make conscious choices that support who they truly are.

Are you LGBTQ Friendly?

Absolutely. And I am looking forward to a day when this question is no longer necessary.
